In Tajikistan, Navroz is a four-day public holiday and an opportunity for families to come together in celebration of traditions, particularly with the youngest members of the family.

The song’s lyrics describe the blossoming flowers, delicate fragrances, and sound of birdsong that mark the arrival of spring. This new day and new year is blessed, the song says, as Navroz brings with it a rain of Light.
