The Montessori Affiliation Certification (MAC) prepares participants for the role of a co-teacher/assistant teacher in a Montessori setting. Participants have the option of completing their Certification from AMI (Association Montessori Internationale – Internationally recognized) institutions or from AMS (American Montessori Society – widely recognized in the US) institutions. Successful completion of the MAC requires 561 hours of instruction, plus 540 hours of practicum.
