Members of the Canadian Community visited the Ismaili Centre, Dubai as part of their travel itinerary within the region in February 2019.

Akbar Verjee gave a short presentation on the outreach activities held at the Centre and the ways in which diplomatic events serve to build bridges and promote pluralism within the wider community in Dubai.  The event concluded with a tour of the Centre, which was very well received, and the tour ambassadors were commended for their knowledge and enthusiasm. “Visiting the Centre was a remarkable way to end our trip. The architecture blew us away and reminded us of how all the Ismaili Centres are unique and rich in our Islamic heritage and are created to complement their surroundings.” remarked a member of the group.
