The Aga Khan Foundation, Madagascar, is hiring a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) responsible to provide strategic direction to the institution. The position is based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The CEO will work very closely with AKF’s Head Office, other AKDN agencies, stakeholders and community leaders to ensure that the unit’s efforts are thoughtfully prioritised and balanced concerning its geographic and thematic focus area(s) and aligned to the global programme framework. The CEO will also be responsible to mobilise resources, implement programmes, stakeholder engagement, management and operations of the unit. The successful candidate will have strong management experience with fluent French language skills. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of the region and strategic and analytical skills with capacity to motivate and empower people.
