Mawlana Hazar Imam has long been expressing the desire for the community to promote, celebrate and experience and live art, culture and sport as they are universal languages that facilitate the understanding and acceptance of diversity and also celebrate the pluralism that it is an integral part of our DNA as a strong and cohesive community.
The Global Encounters Festival 2024 seeks to fulfill that vision. A week-long initiative that brings together athletes and artists from the four corners of the world and includes the Jubilee Arts, the Jubilee Games, as well as workshops, masterclasses, concerts, films, and lots of socializing.
But the celebration of art and sport begins “here at home”! It's exciting, right?
We are so happy to introduce to you the Portugal Arts Festival!
A full weekend where we will be celebrating all our artists – from the youngest to the most experienced – and where we will explore dance, music, painting and photography, film and even virtual reality!
