The little kickers school offers a positive and lively programme that is run in a friendly, "no pressure" environment. Properly run by qualified trainers specialising in child health, it is a programme with a vision of continuous evolution to teach valuable social skills such as: listening, sharing, waiting your turn and teamwork. These are skills worked on purpose during the programme, which also emphasises other simple concepts such as colours and numbers, while also working on fine motor skills such as balance, agility and coordination.
Little Kickers believes that with its experience in children's classes for over ten years, it is in an excellent position to naturally extend the programme to incorporate the interaction of learning other languages to children through football.
Studies have repeatedly shown that sport is a powerful channel for teaching a variety of subjects, especially language, and that children are more receptive to learning a language at an early age.
Essentially, the programme remains an educational football class, as in the other countries where Little Kickers is present, where there is a new language component incorporated - and not the other way around (a language programme with a bit of football added in).
In addition to the football component, where the main educational focus remains on developmental objectives such as listening and following instructions, colours and numbers, balance, agility and coordination, physical fitness and, most importantly, the student having fun, keywords are also used in order to expose the children to interaction with a foreign language.
