Global Encounters is pleased to inform the Jamat that applications are now open for the 2024 cycle of Global Encounters Internships.
The GE Internship Programme aims to assist university students, graduates and young professionals to have profound internship experiences with a focus on helping young adults broaden their horizons, build career and life skills, and contribute meaningfully to the development sector.
Over 100 interns aged 18-30, from around the world, have participated to date. Placements have been offered in partnership with 17 AKDN agencies and Imamat Institutions across 9 countries, in a range of sectors, including: education, climate change, poverty elimination, habitat, finance, health and technology.
This year, in-person internships in India, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan as well as virtual opportunities are being offered.
