Ismaili Institutions Portugal is a new digital platform which replaces the previous JIS platform (Jamati Information System), and will centralize data related to the Jamat and Institutions, with the aim of ensuring a simpler, agile and functional communication, allowing the community and Institutions a greater availability and accessibility of data and digital processes.
With this new platform, it will also be possible to ensure greater reliability of Jamat's demographic data, and ensure activities and events that are more targeted to Jamat's interests, conditions and concerns. With the information provided, Institutions will in future be able to provide benefits specific to the needs of Jamat, such as events and information related to best health practices, focusing on specific diseases within Jamat, or receive information on schools and universities of reference to families with children and youth.
The new app will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and will offer new and improved real-time features such as:
- Updating household details;
- Obtaining information and registering for institutional events;
- Communicating news and events;
- Communicating with Institutions, providing feedback and suggestions;
- Accessing the Institutional Directory;
- Volunteering for the Institutions;
- Information on various Jamatkhanas and prayer schedules;
- Among others.
In addition to these new features, integration with The Ismaili mobile application will soon be possible (already available for iOS and Android).
Thus, we reinforce the importance of keeping your data updated and as complete as possible, in order to benefit from the new features and also to ensure that you receive all the communications from the institutions specific to your household.
