We had the pleasure of welcoming a medical team from the Portuguese Blood and Transplant Institute - composed by 2 doctors, 3 assistants and 3 nurses - who, together with the teams from the Ismaili CIVIC, the Aga Khan Health Board, and everyone else who came to contribute, made this initiative possible and a success!
Each man can donate blood up to 4 times a year, and each woman up to 3 times - this act of solidarity can make a huge impact on someone's life, and it costs almost nothing to contribute!
