An organic unit that depends on the Luanda Provincial Command (CPL) and aims to assist police forces in policing the province.
CESP primary objective is to assist and permanently disseminate police events, in coordination with forces on the ground. The monitoring of people's movement in public areas, control and vehicle tracking through observation via CCTV system taking into account the shortage of personnel that persists to put an end to operational activity, is also another of CESP missions.
It will reinforce public security management in the peripheral areas of the capital city, since the installed CCTV system will inhibit and in other cases, identify and locate the offenders who persist in criminal practices and other offenses.
Financed by the South Korean Bank, Eximbank, CESP is interconnected with the Integrated Center for Public Security (CISP), through a fiber-optic network, to cross the data and respond to requests for police intervention, via the emergency number 111, namely:
· Crossing data on the criminal situation,
· Statistical analysis of the criminal situation;
· Monitoring of potential crime-prone areas;
· Coverage in Hytera radio system, for better communication between Police Units;
· Location of police patrols, via the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) system, facilitating the dispatch of occurrences from the emergency terminal (111) of the CISP;
· Control of strategic points (entering and leaving the city of Luanda);
· Tracking of vehicles involved in road crimes or accidents;
