Imamat Day 2023

On the occasion of the 66th Imamat birthday of our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam, the institutions and the Mukhi Kamadia Sahebs and Mukhiani Kamadiani Sahebas are pleased to share with Jamat, the program and details of the celebrations.

PROGRAMME:

  • The celebrations will take place on Saturday, July 8, at the Lisbon Congress Center.
  • For Jamat's comfort and safety, prior registration to the celebrations is mandatory through The Ismaili App (available for download on all major platforms) or the iiPortugal platform, available at www.iiportugal.org.
  • After registration, you will receive by email a QR code that will also be available in The Ismaili APP.
  • Access to the venue of the celebrations will only be possible by presenting the QR Code.
  • A "Registration desk" will be available at the Lisbon Congress Center for Jamat members who do not have a QR Code. These members are kindly requested to go to the venue as early as possible.
  • The doors will open at 6 pm, and the religious ceremonies will start at 7:30 pm.
  • For family and friends who are not participating in the religious ceremonies, there will be a program, starting at 6:00 PM and continuing until the end of the religious ceremonies, in the Tejo Room.
  • Dinner will be served at 8:15 pm.
  • Considering that the space available for dinner is limited and that it is not possible for the entire Jamat to dine at the same time, we inform you that the film of the Diamond Jubilee of Portugal will be shown immediately after the end of the religious ceremonies. This way, members of the Jamat who wish to watch the movie will be able to have dinner afterwards.
  • For the younger Jamat, a children's entertainment program will take place at the Tejo room, which will include traditional games, face-painting, among other activities.
  • The entertainment program will start at 9:45pm.
  • Supper will be served from 11pm onwards.
  • There is a paid parking lot next to the premises, in front of the venue.
  • On this day, transportation will be provided:

LISBON Jamat - From the Ismaili Center the transportation will be drop-on / drop-off system, with departures between 6pm and 7:30pm. The return to the Ismaili Center will take place from 11pm. ~
SEIXAL Jamat - Departure will be at 5:30 pm from the old Jamatkhana of Paivas and return at 12:30 am.
OEIRAS Jamat - The departure from Oeiras Jamatkhana will be at 18:30 and the return at 00:30.
