Faith calls for freedom of intellectual investigation without losing its spiritual dimension. The intellect of man, allows him to have a broader view of Creation. This was the motto of the My Golden Events session, which took place on July 2nd, in synergy with ITREB, and led by the speaker Shaheen Dayani.

Man reaches the Divine through prayers and devotion. The Divine reaches man through the GUIDE and guidance.

Humanity, throughout its history, has had periods of crisis: in health, in the economy and in human values.
These crises can become unique opportunities to change for the better, although they sometimes require excessive sacrifices, either to society as a whole, to organizations or to individuals.

The human being, endowed with his intellectual, scientific, technical or manual abilities, has been at the forefront to face and overcome crises.
Mawlana Hazar Imam, in the speech at the opening ceremony of Aga Khan University, in Karachi, on November 11th 1985, said: "It is the light of the intellect that distinguishes the complete human being from the animal human".

Intellectual work must be contextualized by the love of the Divine and the love of one's fellowmen, otherwise it will become an end in itself, at the risk of serving only individual talent.

Intellect helps us to exercise understanding. Science and technology advances are the most effective tools in serving the Imam and are useful, as they help make the world a better place for humanity.
