There are, in total, 60 works, including painting, photography, film, installation, among others, which undeniably show us that Europe is culturally very diverse and rich. And that cultural diversity is a very powerful creative force that will help us create a new Europe. And what will this new Europe be like? This exhibition, in which 21 artists with family roots in former African colonies participate, such as Congo, Angola, Guinea, Benin, Algeria, forces us to reflect on our origins, our identity, memory, our heritage.
New perspectives on building a more inclusive and more open Europe.
The exhibition will be on display, at the Main Gallery of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, until the June 23rd. Find all details about timetables, tickets and guided tours here.
