WHAT IS THE CFR?
The mission of Central Fund Raising, or CFR, provides financial support to the main lines of activity of the Institutions, so an annual fundraiser is held as a financial resource.
The main goal is to support the various Jamati Institutions in developing their projects and initiatives, aimed at the Jamat of the Portuguese Jurisdiction, integrating the Jamats of Portugal and Spain.
WHAT IS THE CFR FOR?
The contributions (donations) received by the CFR eam allow the satisfaction of the entire “Programmatic Activity”, that is, the activities of the Boards/Portfolios, Jamat festivities and Ismaili Center programs.
A portion of these resources is intended for services directed to Jamat in various areas, with a special focus on supporting Social Welfare families facing urgent needs and those most in need. The remaining amount is invested in programs at institutions such as FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance, ITREB and the Youth&Sports Board, in addition to also contributing to a fraction of the operational costs of the Ismaili Center and the Jamatkhanas under the portuguese jurisdiction.
WHY SHOULD I CONTRIBUTE?
Donation is a gesture of generosity and altruism that has the power to transform lives, it is more than the simple act of giving. By contributing, you have the opportunity to take part in something bigger than ourselves, it is a commitment to making a difference, to supporting and grow the means that help our Institutions achieve their goals.
We request everyone, with no exception, from the young to the eldery, to contribute within their means to the CFR campaign - “From all to all”. No matter the amount, every euro counts and will make all the difference in improving the quality of life of our Jamat. We humbly request for the support of all Jamati members, so that they can be partners and agents of change in this cause.
