The Ismaili Centre once again joins the “Open Gardens” initiative and opens its doors to the public on the weekends of the 21st, 22nd and 27th and 28th of May. Invite your friends and come for a guided tour of the wonderful gardens of our Centre.

Portuguese

In an annual initiative, promoted by EGEAC, of the Lisbon City Council, the “Open Gardens” allow us to discover and explore pearls, often hidden in our city. Stunning gardens, hidden behind the wall of a private space, such as the Italian Embassy, the British Cemetery or the Ismaili Centre.

We always take advantage of this initiative to make ourselves known to the Lisbon public and show the wonderful gardens that we have in our Centre. Not just the ones we see every day, but the ones that are more hidden and that deserve a better exploration on our behalf.

Why not take the opportunity to invite some of your friends and bring them to the Centre for a visit? We will have the following shedules:

Saturday - 21st and 28th of May

  • Guided tours at 10:00am and 11:00am
  • Free visits the rest of the day, until 5:00pm

Sunday - 22nd and 29th of May

  • Free visits from 10:00am to 1:00pm

In addition to visits to the Gardens, we will also have two painting exhibitions: “Collections”, by Gulnar Sacoor (https://www.ggsacoor.com), open until the 22nd of May, and the following week, we will have the exhibition “Open Gardens” by Nogueira de Barros (https://www.nogueiradebarros.com/)
