Consists of three base programs:
- the International Gallery of Art (IAG)
- the International Film Festival (IFF) and
- the International Performing Arts Showcase (IPAS).
These programs seek to promote the arts and showcase Jamat's artistic excellence. Fundamentally, they provide an opportunity for self-expression and dialogue through creative expression.
Each of these programs is divided into categories. Briefly:
What is the way to Jubilee Arts?
The Portuguese jurisdiction has a limited number of participants that it can bring to the Global Encounters Festival and Jubilee Arts, but we want to guarantee the best opportunities for our artists!
To this end, we will be holding the Portugal Arts Festival in October. The theme for this year is: "Care".
You have until 3rd September to tell us if you will be participating. You have about two months - between 8th of July and 3rd of September - to think about, plan, and execute your piece of art.
Your piece must be submitted by 10th of September (whether it’s video, photo, canvas, or other format within the above categories).
We will have a panel of independent judges who will look at all submissions and ensure that they meet all the defined criteria.
This selection should be completed by 17th of September.
In October, we will all meet - in person or virtually - for a big celebration of all our artists.
Throughout the Festival, our jury will make a second selection to find the artists that will represent the Portuguese jurisdiction at the Global Encounters Festival.
In December 2023, we will have to submit the finalists' pieces from each of the categories to the Global Encounters Festival platform.
