The Embassy of Bangladesh, Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Dubai hosted a cultural evening in partnership with the Ismaili Community at the Ismaili Centre, Dubai on April 21, 2019. The audience comprised 230 guests who were spellbound by the dance and music performances by the Srishti Cultural Centre. The artists performed Bangladeshi folk and classical dances, as well as dances to Tagore’s and Kazi Nazrul Islam’s songs. Amidst the guests were Ambassadors of Bangladesh and Portugal, and Consul Generals of Belarus, Bangladesh, Turkey, United Kingdom, South Africa, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Russia, Thailand and Deputy Consul Generals of Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria and Italy. Also present were a number of Diplomatic staff from several Consulates.
