Aga Khan Foundation Canada is now accepting applications for its 2024-2025 International Youth Fellowship Program.
The International Youth Fellowship Program, sponsored by AKFC in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada, is a proven launching pad for diverse careers in government, non-profit, media, education, STEM, and finance. This fully funded opportunity offers an intensive, practical, pre-departure training program and an eight-month placement in a meaningful role to recent university graduates and young professionals aged 30 or under.
Participants can apply for placements that best match their backgrounds and interests, such as:
Fields: Agriculture & Food Security, Civil Society, Climate Resilience, Early Childhood Development, Education, Gender Equality, Health & Nutrition, Work & Enterprise
Placements: Communications, Marketing, Media, Monitoring & Evaluation, Operations, Partnerships, Project Management, Research
Approximately 15 Fellowships will be awarded for the 2025/26 program.
To become an International Youth Fellow, applicants must:
Be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada
Be 30 years of age or younger at the time of the application deadline
Be able to demonstrate qualities and characteristics of global citizens
Hold, at minimum, an undergraduate university degree

Management Seminar - May 22 - June 15, 2025 (exact dates subject to change)
