Globally, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As part of their campaign to raise awareness this month, the Aga Khan Health Board of the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with the Women’s Activities Portfolio for the Ismaili Community, celebrated Pink Day across the GCC to help spread the message of resilience and hope.

The colour pink symbolises support and encourages open discussion, empowering individuals to prioritise breast health and access to available resources.

Additionally, Community Members were invited to attend various informational sessions delivered by professionals, sharing the importance of early detection and regular screenings, as well as looking out for key signs and symptoms.

Let us use this awareness to prioritise our health and remember, early screening saves lives.
