What is Ismaili CIVIC?
Ismaili CIVIC is a global program launched in 2020 to enhance the presence and impact of the Ismaili community in the societies where it lives, while reflecting Ismaili values through volunteering.
In just three years, Ismaili CIVIC has grown from local initiatives to a global platform active in 33 countries, engaging hundreds of thousands of volunteers and benefiting millions of people worldwide.
Through diverse partnerships with local communities, civil society organizations, and governments, Ismaili CIVIC addresses local and national needs, strengthens community well-being, fosters unity, and reinforces a shared sense of identity and common purpose.
This year, on September 29, Global Ismaili CIVIC Day will bring together volunteers from around the world to participate in various activities focused on the theme of environmental protection, such as tree planting, neighborhood cleanups, and support for sustainable initiatives.
Other ongoing priorities include efforts to combat poverty, reduce human suffering, and improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
In our juristiction, our efforts will include tree planting days, neighborhood cleanups, and blood donation drives to join the global community in creating a positive impact within our cities.
Join us on Global Ismaili CIVIC Day to demonstrate our commitment to serving humanity with generosity and compassion. Stay connected with us through our social media channels and our upcoming newsletter for more details on activities near you and how to participate in these meaningful efforts together!
