His Excellency, Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India to Dubai was hosted at the Ismaili Centre, Dubai by Community Leadership on 6 June 2024.

Discussions touched upon the work of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) globally and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture’s (AKTC) mandate to promote cultural awareness.

AKTC projects in India include the restoration and revitalisation of Humayun's Tomb in Delhi; social/cultural programmes and urban upgrading in the Nizamuddin area; the rehabilitation of Sunder Nursery and the rehabilitation of a number of monuments in the historic district as well as a project to transform the Qutb Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad into a heritage park.

The Ismaili Centre, Dubai looks forward to continuing to partner with the Indian Embassy in the hosting of cultural events.
