Since 2021, the National Council and Cruz Vermelha Hospital (HCV) have signed a protocol with special conditions for members of the Ismaili Community.
The Cruz Vermelha Hospital, which has been open for over 50 years, is a national reference hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by clinicians with publicly recognised reputation and merit.
In order to visit the hospitals new facilities and areas, the HCV Administration sent an invitation to the National Council. The meeting was attended by the President of the National Council, Yasmin Bhudarally, the Vice-President, Munir Ahmad, and the Chairman of the Aga Khan Health Board for Portugal, Adam Sadrudine. On behalf of HCV, the President of the Executive Committee, Dr Carlos Rodrigues da Silva, the members of the executive committee, Dr Ana Marques da Silva and Dr Carlos Ferreira de Sá, the
Commercial Director, Dr Maria João Silva, the Clinical Director, Dr Francisco Ferreira da Silva and the Nursing Director, Nurse Vera Santos, were also present.
