All of us feel fear, anger, insecurity, as well as happiness, calm, peace and love.
As emotions have different functions in our lives, we only  need to be aware and not let the least good ones dominate us.

Finding strategies to deal with emotions helps to create a richer and more loving relationship between parents and children.

The Education Portfolio in synergy with the Health Portfolio created a yoga and meditation activity for parents and children aged 0 to 2 with teacher Paula Correia.

Meditation, when done as a family, promotes self-knowledge, bonding and connection between family members, especially when there are children involved.

Yoga further strengthens the bond between parents and babies, through exercises that children enjoy and that should always be practiced at home. In addition to helping one relax and sleep better, the positions and massages performed on the stomach area help with colic relief, digestion, coordination and motor skills.

The exchange of affection and tenderness makes parents even more confident in their role.
