Thursday, 20 July 2023: The Ismaili Centre, Dubai hosted a farewell lunch in honour of His Excellency Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India to the United Arab Emirates. Many friends and colleagues from the Diplomatic Community attended the lunch to say farewell to His Excellency, who is shortly returning to Delhi following a 3 year term at the Consulate.

His Excellency spoke of the warmth and hospitality he had experienced during his visits to the Ismaili Centre, stating, "my heartfelt gratitude to the Ismaili Centre for the warmth and hospitality extended to me during the last three years every time I have visited it. It seems coming to my family, my home, and have always received nourishment for my soul. Beautiful energy created by a wonderful group of people.”
