It's true that we want “Sparks of Talent” to be a celebration of talent.
We really want Jamati members to share their talents so we can celebrate them.
It is not a contest and there are no prizes. There's just a huge talent feast!
We want to mark May 22nd with celebration, unity and lots of smiles! We all need a moment like this, don't you agree?
So what is the role of mentors?
Well, first of all, their role is to look at each of the submitted videos and assess whether they comply with institutional rules and ensure that there is no inappropriate content.
Then, they will look at each performance and see where the artist can further explore his talent, where the act can be improved. All this information will be shared with the artists, individually.
The audition weekend - 2nd and 3rd of April - will be used for the artists to practice their performances, in the space of the Ismaili Centre, incorporating the feedback given by the mentors, who will be accompanying the artists throughout the weekend.
It will be an excellent opportunity to further explore your talent, learn, improve and grow, as Mawlana Hazar Imam asks us, and, by the way, shake your fear of public! Continuous improvement. And all the opportunities for that to happen are great, don't you agree?
We hope to have clarified one more issue. Come on, shake off that fear and share your talent with us! We are waiting for you!
