Update on the Exceptional/Temporary Measures In Force During Public Calamity State:

Measures already in place that was just reinforced:

• Mandatory use of face mask in public and private establishments and institutions as well as on public street.
• Restaurants, bars and similar -> Open all days of the week, from 06:00 to 22:00 with a prohibition of dance floors and dance spaces.
• PCR test still mandatory for international flights from and to Angola, done a maximum of 72 Hours before the flight.
• Public transportation continues to work on a maximum capacity of 75%.
• Commercial activities (supermarkets, shops, etc) from 07:00 to 20:00.
• Beaches and public access pools allowed from 15th September.
• Recommendation of home enclosure from 24:00 to 05:00.
• Religious activities allowed every day of the week.
• Individual practice of sports from 05:00 to 20:00.
• Maximum of 15 PAX on home gatherings.
• Cinemas allowed to open until 22:00.

Main modifications:

• Starting from November 1st the vaccination certificate will be mandatory in this cases:

  • Workers from public institutions and companies to access their workplaces.
  • Participation in public contests to enter in Public Administration, namely in Health, Education and Security/Defense services.
  • International travels.
  • Access to teaching establishments for teachers and administrative staff.
  • Access to restaurants.
  • Access to comercial establishments.
  • Access to cinemas, museums, theaters, monuments.
  • Access to activities and meetings in close space.
  • Access to gyms.
  • Access to casinos and game saloons.
  • Access to musical shows.

• The vaccination certificate can be replaced by the proof of having at least one dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 or for a COVID-19 negative test result.
• Private entities can demand the presentation of the vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 negative test result as a condition to access the services.
