Meredith Preston McGhie, Secretary General of the Global Centre for Pluralism, Ottawa, visited the Ismaili Centre, Dubai.
On arrival, Ms. McGhie was given a full guided tour of the Ismaili Centre, Dubai by Vice President Khalil Muhammad, who explained important features of the building, as well as intellectual engagement and cultural programmes at the Centre. Given Ms. McGhie's frontline negotiating efforts towards building peace and good governance in diverse societies, she was particularly interested to hear about the outreach activities at the Centre and expressed interest in revisiting the Centre on her next trip to Dubai. Ms. McGhie was accompanied by Shaunel London, Communications Coordinator and Public Affairs Officer, GCP, and Ms Shereen Mikhail Vaughan, Political Counsellor at the Embassy of Canada in Abu Dhabi.
