Inspiration:
I am inspired by an extreme love for the nursing profession, because it was my mother’s wish and because I feel honoured to serve humanity. I think that this it is the best way that I can voluntarily help those who are in need, those who are sick and those who have significant illnesses. The COVID-19 pandemic gives me motivation to continue helping.
Current Role:
I am currently working with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) at the Al Warsan Coronavirus (COVID-19) Centre. I am in the first response team, and receive COVID-19 positive patients who are arriving at our centre via ambulance.
Advice:
My advice to the Jamat is that the impact of COVID-19 can be significantly reduced by taking appropriate precautions. Simple preventative measures can result in your personal safety, and the safety of your loved ones.
