Current Role:
Working as a frontline health worker for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I am constantly exposed to hazards that put me at risk.  This has caused a lot of fear and anxiety within me, and many of my colleagues. COVID-19 not only affects us physically but it has repercussions on our mental health as well.

However, it is faith and hope that has helped me to fight this fear, and not let it affect my work. I believe that in these times, it is extremely important to replace fear with hope and faith.  COVID-19 patients are showing recovery, and others are taking precautionary measures by social distancing themselves, maintaining hygiene and building their immunity. It has always been hope that has helped mankind reach this far and it will continue to do so.

“Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope”

- Martin Luther King Jr.

Advice:
Please maintain proper social distancing, practice good hygiene, and stay safe!
