Dinner to Commemorate the Visit of Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development, Canada, Held at The Ismaili Centre, Dubai
The Ismaili Centre, Dubai and His Excellency Radha Krishna Panday, Ambassador of Canada to the United Arab Emirates, together with the Canada UAE Business Council (CUBC), hosted a dinner to commemorate the visit to the UAE of the Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development, Canada.
The dinner was attended by prominent members of the CUBC and Senior Leadership of the Ismaili Community for the UAE.
In expressing how much he was looking forward to COP28, Minister Sajjan stated that one of the objectives of his visit was to gain an understanding of the best practices adopted by the UAE Government in the area of climate change, ahead of the Conference.
Senior CUBC member, Aziz Shariff, and President of the Ismaili Community in the UAE, Aziz Merchant, thanked Minister Sajjan and Ambassador Panday for their ongoing support of the initiatives of the Ismaili Imamat in Canada and the UAE.
