A book lands on a table in a library;
a crowd of people descend on it.
A child turns a page;
a story comes to life...

ALI TO KARIM: A Tribute to the Ismaili Imams recounts the story of our 49 Imams in seven episodes. It traces the unbroken thread of Imamat through the tapestry of Muslim civilisations woven over 1 400 years of history. Staged in the wonderous world of books, it entices the audience into a realm where past and present mingle and come to life.

Watch as the plume gives way to the first pen: “Construct a pen,” guided the Imam, “which can be used... without having recourse to an ink-holder, and whose ink will be contained inside it.”
