Before the Opening Ceremonies light up the world at the Global Encounters Festival 2025 in Dubai, the Faanoos, our symbolic flame, travels across continents, bringing local and regional Jamats together in a celebration of sportsmanship, unity and excellence.
The word 'Faanoos' means 'lantern' in Arabic. The design of the Faanoos beautifully reflects the principles of unity, flow, excellence, and cultural representation.
