Family Reflections activities are designed to do just that - help you understand and articulate the work of the Imamat and why we are so joyously celebrating the Diamond Jubilee.
What is the Family Reflections Program? (Français)
Through a set of monthly activities, the Family Reflections Program will assist in increasing the awareness of the important work and capacity of the Imamat. The simple activities will start a dialogue about our ethics and values and how these can be put into practice. New activities are available monthly.
Developed to celebrate Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Diamond Jubilee, the activities align with the broader themes that will be discussed throughout the Diamond Jubilee year in Jamats around the world:
- Jamatkhana development and Ismaili Centres
- Education
- Culture, diversity and pluralism in Islam
- Poverty alleviation
- Dini (faith) education and reflection
- Perceptions of Islam
To receive Family Reflections monthly activities by email, please register on the Family Reflections Microsite.

As an individual, family or group of friends, we invite you to participate in the monthly activities that will be available on-line. Each activity includes a description, questions and relevant links to serve as a starting point for reflection and conversation. Most activities are geared towards everyone in the Jamat, regardless of age, language or culture.
The toolkit will include activities that allow families to reflect through the Diamond Jubilee year. One new activity will be available each month until July 2018.
