Diamond Day allows young adults (ages 18-24 years) to come together to reflect on what the Diamond Jubilee means for the individual and the Jamat as a whole.
Key areas of focus throughout the Jubilee year will include:
- putting the notion of pluralism into practice
- integrating Din and Dunya
- fostering a sense of community and belonging
- assisting young adults on their Jubilee journey, wherever they happen to be on that journey
Diamond Days are an opportunity to discuss and address questions about the history and significance of Jamatkhana in an individual's life. Youth will be able to engage in activities, discusion and celebration during the Diamond Jubilee year.
Diamond Day events will be held three to four times during the Diamond Jubilee year. Please see the Al Akhbar for details in your region.
