Stories on the Rooftop Series is an opportunity for Jamati youth to come together and share inspiring stories and experiences with the objective to unite and engage participants by creating a safe and intimate learning space to connect with arts and culture.
‘Storytelling is a powerful vehicle for truth-telling and for building community; it is at the heart of spiritual circles [….]. The practice of deep listening to the honest, vibrating details of another's life story can open hearts into connection through profound recognition, and melt isolation and separation.' (Surrey & Shem, The Buddha’s Wife, 2015).
